Anthony Robinson

Supply Officer

Lieutenant Anthony Robinson is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1989 and enlisted in the Navy in February 1990. In June 1991, he completed Mess Management training at Naval Training Center San Diego, California. Anthony then reported to the USS Chandler (DDG 996) homeported in Seattle, Washington. He completed two Middle East Force deployments and numerous exercises.

In March 1994, he reported to Naval Air Station, Kingsville, Texas Combined Bachelor Housing as Front Desk Supervisor. In February 1997, Anthony reported to the Pre-commissioning unite Hopper, in Bath, Maine. After commissioning the USS Hopper (DDG 70), Anthony completed the ship’s maiden deployment to the North Arabian Sea, which included numerous combat operations in support of Operation Southern Watch.

Anthony reported to Naval Region Pearl Harbor July 2001 where he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer. He served as the Food Service Officer/Bachelor Housing Officer at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific (NCTAMS PAC) Wahiwa, Hawaii.

Anthony was selected for Limited Duty Officer and was commissioned an Ensign in the Supply Corps in October 2003. He graduated from the Navy Supply Corps School’s Basic Qualification Course in Athens, Georgia in March 2004.

Anthony’s next assignment was aboard the forward-deployed USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) in Yokosuka, Japan where he was assigned as the Wardroom Officer. He earned his qualification as Surface Warfare Supply Corps Officer during his tour.

Anthony also served in the Aviation Supply Division and as the Aviation Depot Level Repairable Officer while aboard USS Kitty Hawk. Anthony managed all the repairable parts for the embarked Carrier Air Carrier Wing 5 (CVW 5). During this tour, he also earned his Naval Aviation Supply Officer (NASO) qualification and completed the Joint Aviation Supply and Maintenance Material Management Course at Navy Supply Corps School in Athens, Georgia.

Anthony reported to Commander, Naval Air Force in North Island, California, where he served as Afloat Serviced Officer in 2006.

Anthony joined the Blue Angels in September 2007. His decorations include five Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, five Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals and various personal and unit awards.
