San Diego, Calif.:

A previously unnamed peak in the San Diego Mountain Range was named Blue Angels Peak on October 21 in honor of the Navy's flight demonstration team.

The 4.549 foot mountain is located in the southwestern corner of Imperial County near El Centro, where the Blue Angels have practiced during the winter months for the past several years.

Vice Admiral Bernard M. Strean, CNATra, and Captain Kenneth Wallace, a former Blue Angels leader who served two tours with the team, were present at the dedication ceremony.
