The Greater Pensacola Blue Angel Atrium was dedicated on August 21 at the National Museum of Naval Aviation, Pensacola, FL. The seven-story, glass and steel atrium features four A-4F Skyhawks suspended from the ceiling is diamond formation. Three of the four Skyhawks are original Blue Angel aircraft. The atrium was funded with $1.4 million from the citizens of Pensacola, and the A-4F restoration was funded by a $500,000 donation from the McDonnell Douglas Corporation. |
