This has always been the theme of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, and for a good reason. There has always been a continuity to this group, and it remains as much a "team" today as ever. As Webmasters, we have had the pleasure of working with Blues from all eras, from the original "First Blue", Captain US Navy (Ret.) Butch Voris, to the members of the current team. As team members are rotated in and out of active duty, there is never a total turnover of personnel at one time, so there has always been that thread of continuity.

From the lowliest enlisted personnel to the "Boss", we have all cooperated in one goal and that was/is to put on the safest and finest airshow possible. That is why anyone from the top down could delay the airshow launch until everyone was satisfied that men and machines were in top form.

We have found that after more than 50+ years, all members still cooperate and work together as a Team, whether officers, enlisted, or other support people, and whether from the "Hellcat, Bearcat, Panther, Cougar, Tiger, Phantom, Skyhawk, or Hornet era. Having had the pleasure of working with these fine people as a member of this team, it is a privilege and even greater pleasure to share their story on this Website, as told from the perspective of individuals who have served.

Click on button(s) below to read about that part of the Blues History, as told by (or about) the person named.
