This is a photo of 154176 taken in 1985 at the Albuquerque, NM airshow at Kirkland AFB. The posting we have of the A-4 in Orlando is not the true 154176 but was repainted with that BuNo. This is how she stood as the spare aircraft in 1985. That's my granddaughter, Crystal Kiss, on my shoulders.

It was first at the Navel Recruit Training Facility here in Orlando, FL. When the facility closed the boot camp it was then hauled over to the research park just south of University of Central Florida where it now stands. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) is located in Orlando, Florida, (20 miles northeast of the Orlando International Airport) where the simulation and training industry thrives. The NAWCTSD facility, also known as the de Florez Complex, is situated on 40 acres in the Central Florida Research Park.

Tom Bispo, recognizing that there were two different Bureau Numbers (the number assigned each aircraft by the Dept. of the Navy) listed for this aircraft made an inquiry of the Skyhawk Association to see if they could tell which aircraft BuNo this actually was. Below is their response:

We already have the Orlando aircraft in our On Display section, listed as A-4A, BuNo 139931. The Orlando aircraft has been cosmetically disguised to represent A-4F 154176, which was a Blues bird. It doesn't have a fueling probe (common to all A-4F models but not included in the A model), the tail geometry is not that of an A-4F, and there is no drag chute housing (included in the Blue Angel modification package).
